THANK YOU!

First and foremost-

Thank you DA for making this game. I only have the demo now (please Teusday come quickly!), but it has me so ridiculously hooked that I am in danger of passing out in front of my PC. I haven't been this way since the days of Priv. Honestly, it took me a little while to get used to the game and at first I felt a little "what the f^$K?" but the more I play the better it gets. I've had the demo since Monday and it if New York System is any indication of the depth of the universe.......then face it...I'm screwed...I might as well buy stock in beer and cigarettes, quit school and hope that the stock market can support me, which it should based on my projected consumption.

Secondly...HUGE thank you to TLR!!!!!!!!! As a relative newbie, you all welcomed me with open arms, fed me tit-bits of info as I craved the need for FL, and put up with my occasional (actually more than frequent) dumbass questions. Gib, Mods, and older wiser members, you all ROCK!!!! You do an awesome job here, and should be proud of it. Keep it up, it's going to get (or already has got) a little crowded here, but this is an amazing community you've created. The forums here are some of the most intelligent, rational and diverse I've ever encountered. Hell, you even you even let the occasional "But why is there no joystick support" thread stay open for one (that's the limit) reply.

Finally, and I have to say it- thank you Microsoft. Bill, go out and buy the game, pla it a little and maybe some of that pet-up tension will be relieved. It's a brave publisher that picks up a genre that hasn't seen a good game in a long while and then lets them develop it for 5 years. Hope MS produces more!

All right, that's it- have a good night all, It's 4 AM and I have to be up in a few for class....dammit...just one more run!

later-

K

PS- To all you nay-sayers out there who don't like the game based on your 0.5 hours of play time on the cracked/warex version, and feel the need to express your "enlightened" opinion......here's a tip on concealing naivete:

if you know very little about something, make sure your audience knows less. Or else, keep quiet.

Hell- I only have the demo and I'm already on 38 hours.....didn't think there was that much to do at level one in NY......think again.

Hehe, tit-bits. (What hyphen, EB? And you can count on me, Kivuli. )

EB: That one over there.

Since when did that hyphen come into play, BS?

LOL, Kivuli, things would be the way they are without you guys too. Im glad you enjoy the game. The New York System is nothing compared to the other things youll encounter in the game.
