Turrets are awsome!

Ihave figured out that when I am in a Freighter, that the freighter is not really good for fighting.(I know- DUH). But when the Freighter is equiped with turrets I can defend my self very well while I have on "dock" to a lane ring. That was alot of fun and intense.

I have also fiqured out that the best way to do cargo runs is to join another convoy. So that way when the lane gets hacked not all the pirates are after me, and there are also friendly ship fighting them.

I love this game.

I agree.. there are many techniques that work very well. I have done the convey route (making sure they are going somewhere close first) this is a great approach.

I have not tried the rear view turret firing when docking however.. Thanks, that's a good tip!

The Rhino in the demo packs a punch. Christ that's a lot of firepower if you add up the guns and turrets slot.
My dislike for the Frieghter however, because it's slow turning, and it's size probably means it's difficult to evade lavablades and missiles. That doesn't prove to be a problem in SP, but against more intelligent and agile folks online is another story.

Which is EXACTLY the reason why you should team up with someone in multiplayer.

Well that lot of "B17" usually draws a lot of "Bf109f" with huge cannons

True true!

Well anyway it really would be a awsome sight to se a large armada of freighters trying to protect eachother and lots of player pirates trying to knock out some traders. Like the wolfpacks in the atlantic. =)
Well its fictional war, and its great becuse there are no real casualties..

(shouldn't mr busch and Saddam play games instead? much cheaper and more healthier for the thousand others)..
