Concerning your problem: you could either pick on some enemies of those Ageira guys, or you could try to just stay away from populated areas until the situation has calmed down a bit. Unless your reputation is hostile with a certain faction they will only hate you for some time and then let you alone again. At least that was my experience in the demo.
