Shooting off weapons

when you subtarget a weapon how does it make it easier to hit a weapon off
besides from slightly adjusting youre crosshair?

also is there an easy way to shoot off turrets?

Thats it, it just moves the crosshair a tiny bit and gives you a little help in shooting your target (ala autoaim).
