PIRATING :-)

Is there a way to pirate liberty and police cargo ships and get away with it?
Usually when I short out a trade lane a rob a cargo ship one of the escorts gets away and then the world hates me...no good...cause i cant sell all my stolen stuff.
By the way, to get more of the cargo of a ship it helps to HAVE a cargo ship aka the Rhino.

Thanks,
ak

Doesnt it seem pointless to attempt a life of crime since there are no missions for this? You are effectively left to your own devices if you choose any profesion other then whipping boy for the companies or police.

Now if the game adapted to the way I played the game, they would really have something here. If I;m flying a cargo ship, GIVE ME SHIPPING MISSIONS. If i spent the last 10 hours robbing people, start mixing in THIEVERY missions. If I join the formation of every cargo convoy I see for 2 days, start giving me ESCORT missions.

If its piratey-type missions you want, get yourself a high rep with the pirates, then dock at their base and get a mission.

you can also scavenge for stuff in those fields of debris. for my its the b key. i didnt know hwo to a few times and shot some stuff that i thought might be vauluable (namely water, i was gonna try to get it and sell it at pittsburg) hey anyone know all the systems or planets in the demo. i've been sticking around pittsburg, the military academy, the sun, manhattan and main really. just been roaming around finding some patrols to own some things with.

but heres how u pirate the easy way. just attack someone, blow them up, and soemtimes they have **** u can tractor beam on. this one rouge had a few nanobots after i was done with him so i tractored those in and those helped alot (damn xeno-rouge attacks, i'm on my way to ****ing west point and they inturrupt my trade lane in the middle of ****ing no were, no friendlies or neutrals around to help, i had to use my cruise engines and manvuer my ****ing way out...)

See my post and read all the replies for how I accidentally learned how to smuggle drugs.

Actually non-lawful missions are good:

- They are more challenging
- They pay more
- Let's face it being the bad guy is fun
