Please help, using weapons/shields/thruster that u have trac

Hey all,

I've managed to pickup some weapons, i.e tracktor beam them in..

I've got some weapon slots free.. so how can I make use of these new weapons??

I can't seem to click them and put them in the new slots, and when in space can't see them to be available..

However, if I sell them.. then purchase them... they go into the slots.. surely there is another way of making use of them??

Please help!!

Click the little "broken" square in the corner of the weapon.

You must dock before you can mount them. When you're docked, just click that gray square in the corner of the equipment picture to mount and unmount.

i had the same problem
if it is pirate weapons some ships wont take them because the weapon class is too high (this is indicated by a brown border)
if you can equip the weapon (blue border) click on the tiny blue square in the upper left hand corner of the highlited weapon
