Freelancer Completed in 24 hours
Firstly, Freelancer is a great game.. and is definately worth purchasing.. I already have my copy on pre-order.. and can't wait to experience the multiplayer element..
I have been a fan of WingCommander Series and Privateer Series, and this game continues the same underlying theme from both..
So.. basically I broke down, and got it early.. I could not resist any longer.. been waiting since Privateer 2 : The Darkening came out....
Anyway... Just to let you guys who are expecting more story line game-play, don't expect more than 24 hours (OF CONTINOUS GAMEPLAY).. This is how long it took me to finish that portion of the game... Bear in mind, in-between the story..that the missions I always chose paid of well...to get leveled up quick... you could probably lengthen the time, by getting smaller paid jobs..
Now im off to explore the rest of the galaxy.. but before I just quit my last session, I looked at the galaxy I had not experienced yet... and there is alot, a hell of alot to go... and I still don't have the best ship or best weapons...
So basically, what could we be looking at for the rest of the game??? Possibly over 60 hours to try and get the best ship, with best shields and weapons, etc.. maybe more.. I dunno.. Also, I've seen one ship, and for the level requirements, Im no where near the level that they need, so I've got more gaming to go.. and that might not be the best ship!!!
So heres the breakdown...
Single-Player portion.. 24 hours
Rest of Game portion .. > 60 hours ??
Anyway... enjoy freelancer...
Now some questions...
In multiplayer..
.. will other players be able to make missions for each other??
.. will we be able to make co-op missions?
.. will we be able to form up clans??
or is just multiplayer so we can just shoot each other??
finally, looking at morrowind... and the publishers making two expansion packs for that game... do we reckon Freelancer will have additional expansion packs for the game ???
I certainly don't want this to be another Wing Commander : Prophecy.. where the ending alluded to a sequel, and one never came out...
Cheers for reading (if you got this far)
