Patch/Mod suggestion!

I was just thinking....

So when you're exploring, you probably set up a waypoint, right? Then you sit around for a while until you reach it. Wouldn't it be great if you could open up an electronic journal and write about what you'd done so far, or just muse about crap, making up your own story as you played?

I was also thinking it'd be cool if you could open up some puzzle game, like Tetris, while flying, and play multiplayer with someone you're in formation with. Okay okay, so that's going a bit too far, but I think the journal idea would be great.

What do you guys think?

Well...you could always just ALT-Tab and open up Notepad or something.

But I think the game pauses. =P

Well, i do enjoy the scenery when exploring but this journal idea would be nice. The ship could sound an alarm when something unknown is picked up by the scanners so that you don't miss it while writing.

Good idea, although I was thinking it'd just pop up like your nav map. Big enough to write in, but you can still see around the edges.

Probably not. I'm starting to think about writing FL fanfiction now, though, and thought how much easier (and cooler) it would be to come up with these stories while playing FL!

Well..in the games I played that had that feature I never used it. I would have a notepad next to my computer and write stuff down there if I needed to. Faster and easier for me atleast. I would rather see them work on a mod or patch to address the more important concerns of those who have played the game, ...the legal copies that is. I would hope the beta tester's inputs were carefully considered?
