Inverting the Mouse in the Demo

I was looking for a way to invert the mouse in the Demo. No joy.

Does anyone know how?

Will we be able to in the full release?

No, it is not and will not be possible to invert the mouse because you control a
simple pointer that you use on menus most of the time, just like you do in Windows. And even in combat it's a normal mouse pointer so it wouldn't make sense to invert the axis.

Thanx for the quick reponce.

I've been a space sim gamer for MANY years. Not being able to use a joystick I can deal with. However, in all my games, flight sims, FPS's, Mechwarrior, etc. I have the mouse invertd, so when I pull back it goes Up, push forward it goes down. Just like the contol on a normal aircraft/space craft.

Anyone else find this a bit odd? Or Better still, awkward?

PS: All the mouse command selection can be mapped to the keyboard, so I doubt that is the logic behind it.

I control all the other game types you mentioned exactly like you do (inverted), but it just doesn't make sense in Freelancer. I didn't have any problems with it because the controls are completly logical to me even though i'm an "inverter" myself. Just give it some time and you will get used to it. Trust me.

Thanx... hey I can learn new things *wink*! I just found it a bit disconserting. I'm sure I'll get a handle on it.
