DEMO: What to do in the empty corners of the system?

I traveled in the lane to Columbia and was rather surprised to find there.. Nothing at all.. What's the deal? Is there something in this area and I have to find it? Or is there some other explaination to make a lane to an empty space?

Columbia? Um, that's not a place in the game... Try again.

I guess he meant Colorado gate. Those "dead ends" feature some jumpgates but access to them is denied. They lead to other systems in the full game (Coloradao, Texas and California) and have no real function in the demo, even though some other ships do jump through them. There would be another way to the Texas system, but that's for you to find.

And yes, I meant Colorado, silly me.

Heh - yeah I just found it in the demo earlier today whilst looking for the Rogue base. Of course I had to hightail it out of there because I got absolutely swarmed by Rogues.

how does it handle reaching the edge of the map? How far does it render or allow you to past it?
