GRAPHICS AND SOUND - REDUCED?

the sounds used in the game are heavily compressed, also the game detail esp on ships is very basic, did they make cutbacks or will a DVD version exist or something?

The marketing demo I'm playing sounds great and looks better. I don't see or hear any problems (besides the occational audio glitch, but that's mentioned in the demo handout). Granted, I've never been a big texture/pixel/MIP mapping spec slinger, so I'm more interested in the gameplay than the pretty eye-candy. I haven't played the download demo so maybe it has the issues you mention?

They probably reduced the quality of the textures and sounds to save space. This is getting more common in game demos.

I havn't played the full game, so I don't know about the graphics, but they seem preety good to me! As for the sound, I think they reduced the quality of the voices.

I thought the demo was great! But the program going to look and play diffrent to everyone because it all depends on your system!

I'd have to agree with you on that one, Trent's voice sounds fine though.
