Are certain careers harder?

Hello all,

I'm in the UK and I've still got nearly 2 months to wait. It's a cruel world.

I fancy playing a bounty hunter, but have recently read that the pirates you come up against are usually flying very good and well equipped ships. Also, if you're playing a pirate, other pirate ships help you out against the police. So I was wondering if different career choices present different levels of difficulty?

Just depends on how far out you are on the map. The farther you are away from the center of the map, the harder your missions and opponents will be.

A lot of the pirate groups will only be found on the outer edges of the Sirius System.

Personally I can't wait to get my bounty hunting on. There's nothing more fun to me than going into some god forsaken corner of the universe to bring in some miscreant.

Boba Fett done gone made me crazy for it

But I am torn between that and pirating. The Red Hessians are so very cool seeming.

Gotta love early morning grammar.

Can someone calrify this for me too.

At the start the bount hunter are neutral for the most part. Is the best way to befreind them to attack whatever their enemy is? And is there a bounty hunter base?

Also, when you do missions for a certain faction does that also help your rep with them?

I had a really cool thing happen, I have been attacking the junkers recently so I decided to follow one of them around and they went back to a junker base. I could land but no one would even give me the time of, I saw some contraband items.

well attacking who there enemies are will help some possibly, or getting someone to hack your reputation file would be a good way if you have the money to spend...but the best way I've seen is to do a few missions for the faction that you're trying to get in good with....
