ranks?

hey i was just wondering..since i dont know anything at all about this game, will there be ranks? thatll be kinda cool but i doubt there will be, right?..oh and when you land on a station thing...do you walk around on foot? THANKS

Hello.
There are no ranks but levels for your character.
You cant walk freely on a planet but click on a person to talk/trade or a place to go there.

If you are new to this game, you will find the FAQ very usefull.

not ranks but levels..the more net worth the higher the level

on planet its just point and click..no fps

Pilots that you meet in space will have ranks though. The higher ranked, the more skilled they are.
