You bet my drivers are up to date! Looking at this driver version issue from a hunter /collector´s point of view. "Newest" is my 2nd name. And no, I refuse to use beta drivers. That would just go too far. I´m already beta tester for MS´ operating systems. After a few service packs one should think their software becomes final some time, but this will never happen I guess

I never had any issues with DX9 either. No one i know has had any problems with it.

What's all this about problems with DX9? *shrugs*

I have installed DX9 about a week ago and it's running very smooth
Very strange that Preacher seems to be one of the few who has problems with it.....

I have an ATI Radeon 32 MB DDR. I never had any problems with DirectX before, until DirectX 9. Right after installing it, Neverwinter Nights stop working when the 3D engine runs and the 3D diagnostics of DirectX 9.0 returned error messages. So I have installed the most recent drivers (Catalyst 3.0, i think). The problems continued (but now the 3D diagnostics work just fine). I must say that I have problems only with Neverwinter Nights.

Neverwinter nights had issues with Cataclys drivers 3.0 and 3.1. It was impossible for some people, like me, to even load the game passed the menus because we were crashing to the desktop.

Although they released a new patch and I think this is fixed now.

You can still play w/DX8 no problems at all....

Although I have yet to play online....

I don't want DX9, so hopefully the MP will let you use DX8 as the SP does.
