Ooh, I''ve got another one!

Question, that is.

GREETINGS!

If I'm gonna be disappointed, I might as well take it early, so.....

In SP will they limit the places I can go to?

or........

Do # of areas in MP=# of areas in SP? (please, please, please, please, please.........)

I do what I must, when I must...

You'll initially be limited to Liberty systems only but after the 4th mission, you'll be allowed to go anywhere.

Thanks, Mr. Quick

Do you people sleep/eat/drink at all?

BTW, interesting fact: This board has about TRIPLE the posts on the Starlancer board, and the game isn't even out yet!

I do what I must, when I must...

The reason for that is simple: Freelancer is much more complex and has much more to offer. In short: it has more things than Starlancer to talk about. Starlancer was damn good but pretty simple at the end of the day.

Due to the fact the bulk of freelancer takes place in space, it is unlikely that people eat/drink/sleep. However, they may, and since they are in a ship you will only be able to see it if they stop and you fly close enough to look inside. There is no clock time in the game, so you won't go into a bar at 1 a.m. cause time does not exist in game. NPCs are always there, all the time.Planets are mainly to repair, buy/sell stuff, get a job and go. Cutscenes for missions also take place on planets, but other than the cutscenes, you won't see yourself walking around getting shot at or anything like that.

Err.......I was talking directly to these real life people.

It was a joke.

The game is slowly assimilating all our brain cells, before it's out!

I think you may notice a sharp decline in the response times around here after everyone has their copy of Freelancer

Post Sat Feb 15, 2003 2:48 pm

I noticed that too, and it turns me into a very sad and lonely Freelancer fan... because i crave infos and infos and screenshots and infos and infos and screenshots. Uhm, did i mention that i want infos and screenshots?

Hey Lev...
I got some useless info for U..
Lev Arris a.k.a. actor Clive Owen starred in The Bourne Identity as one of the assasins...

Rumors now goes, that Clive will be the next 007 after Pierce (finally) trows down the towel...
But Pierce still has to complete yet another movie as Bond..
So if we will ever see Lev drinking Martini's.. I don't know..

Thanks but i already know that.

And here's some info for you: Clive Owen starred as the nameless freelancing driver in a series of freely downloadable short films directed by known people like John Woo, Ang Lee, Guy Ritchie, John Frankenheimer and more and produced by Ridley Scott and David Fincher. Head to BMW Films for more info. I definately recommend watching all those movies. They are great.

p.s.: when the page asks to register you may as well enter a random email address. So no danger of spam by BMW.
