impatient UK question

if i order FL from the US branch of Amazon will it still work on my UK compy?
I asked the same question about two weeks ago and got this address .

Yes dvdboxoffive do PC games, they are just listed as 'computer games' on
the list rather than PC CD or anything. Confused me for a while, but maybe they are scaling down their PC operations.

Otherwise the already mentioned strategic-plus is a good bet - they are faster than dvdboxoffice by some way, but you pay for it.
With all imports to the UK there is always the risk of huge delay due to customs inspection, although this seems to have lessened these days, and it might be that games now fall below the margin for import duty (they didn't before).
