Edge

This may sound weird but since space is pretty much endless as far as we know..
Does Freelancer have an edge where your ship just stops ?
Have any of you PR/CD testers tried this ?

Edited for content.

Umm not a preview player but my guess is there arent any boundries were your ship suddenly stops like starfox or some crappy arcade game.

As far as the sector goes, there aren't really any boundaries but you simply cannot jump past the edge, because there are no systems to jump to. On the star system scale, you can go REALLY far out the edge (where there is absolutely nothing) but eventually you will hit the engine's technical limit. Not sure what it is.

The technical limit should be something like 1.7e+308 (max double) meters in any direction from the sun. That's around 1.8e+292 light years, although it will probably get pretty choppy after a couple of hundred trillion years or so.

If your computer is still working, that is.

I think it was somewhere around 200,000 KM. Just some insanely high number.
