There is no excuse,( at least non that would satisfy me) it should be released in britain at the same time as the US. There is the point about diferent addresses in the manuals and such, but if thats going to cause a five week delay, someone hasnt been doing their job.

Tach thats true, but it dosnt take 5 weeks look how far apart the American and Australian release dates are.

I just made Flight Captain

Europe includes more places like France and Germany that do require entirely different versions more than it includes the UK. I'll see if I can somehow eek out an answer for the UK but it might take a while.

Just a random question. if the uk get it that much later than the us and where ever else. will that mean
1. uk ppl will be that far behind in rank and tech compared other players (which i dont mind so much)
2. The few servers that actually might be host for 32+ players, will be taken up. (which i might mind a little.)

Life is like a box of chocolates some how laced with plastic explosive.

Well, considering not everyone buys the game on the first day, yah, Europeans will, on average, be slightly behind their North American counterparts but it doesnt really matter. In the case of multiplayer, its not like you'll be playing on North American servers anyways cuz chances are that its gonna lag. You're going to experience much better gameplay if you connect to Euro servers.

They need a localised Australian version, with phrases such as:

"Crikey you took my shields out"
or
"Struth, I'm hit"
or finally
"Okay ya bludger, I got a job for ya"

ROLFLMAO. Nice one!

hehe I think if the Australian Version was like that I would buy a copy just for a bit of a laugh

That would be a great idea. I wonder if we can edit the sound files, if so I'd put in some quotes from the Crocodile Hunter and Russel Coight

And then they wonder why there are some many warez versions of games...

You're all lucky not to have Asian English version... (if you don't get it, visit http://www.engrish.com' Target=_Blank>Engrish.com)

Well, i know one thing:

I live in the Netherlands and NOTHING ever gets translated here, why?

BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT DUTCH GAMES!

It's crap, the game is written in english, so we'll play it in english, when do those sorry excuses for europeans get that? (German & France)

So i'm gonna pre-order it from the states, and i suspect to have my server up and running @ 8th of march, NO WAY i'm gonna wait till april 18th!

(i should be able to play an american FL right?)

I figure that the big kicker is trade within the EU and trade TO the EU.
same with trade OUT of the EU. i remember ordering a game from britain cuz it wasn't released outside europe.. the damn thing cost me over $100 including shipping and duties....

...Just a random thought from a random mind
