As the unofficial FAQ-master on another forum (yes, that one) I was of course drawn to the FAQ's on this site. I was wondering how they were maintained and updated and, most importantly, who did it. I'm keen to discuss things with whoever has an interest but I realise that probably won't be everyone here. Feel free to e-mail if you want to let this thread drop.

The forum FAQ is standard phpbb but the game FAQ is obviously more specific. Is it maintained officially or by the community? Who decides what questions should be included and who writes the responses? Do people (new and old) find it useful or is it largely ignored? Any comments would be useful.

BTW I'm posting on the Freelancer forum as I'm interestead more in FAQ's for upcoming games rather than established ones. Apologies if I've commited a faux pas, I couldn't find any guidance in the FAQ.
