Anyone know of a good mod that adds systems ans ships but doesnt screw the game up with stupidly easy money gains? I like a chalenge i dont wont to have the best ship available in 30 seconds...
is it possible to stop sneaking around such players like snakes "ZzzzzZZZZ come to my mod ZZZZzzzzZZZZ all you are looking for is here ZZZZzzzzZZ that is the best mod ever ZZzzzzZZZzzzzz"
it would be better to direct such players to the download section and tell them to read something about the mods there and get an own oppinion based on the features of the mods

Or... I could recommend a mod (which doesn't seem to be too far off from what kahutiac was requesting) and if he/she is interested he/she could simply look up the mod and read the info there if he/she feels like it. The next step, of course, would be downloading the specified mod.
Just another wonderfully simple method of recommending a mod.

And that's a good part of the point... After all, from all those mods available, which one should you choose if you know none of them? The job of going through each can be rather tedious, so I think giving out suggestions is a great way to promote the mods you feel are good. And since it's only an opinion, you are free to decide whether to ignore it or not.
Well, excuse me for kindly trying to help out someone. But I think I have more justification in posting here and recomending a mod than you do coming in to uselessly scold the ones who are actually anwsering Kahutiac's topic.
I sincerely apoligize if my mod recommending is not up to your standards, but if you are that worried about this person not finding what he's looking for in our recommendations then why don't you give him a link to a mod of your choosing.
Good day.

everyone which is able to read should be able to find a mod that fits to him/her
so let ppl decide on the posted facts there instead of the oppinion of a single guy that is sneaking around like a snake "ZZZZzzzz take my mod...ZZZZzzz ... come over here... ZZZZzzzzZZZzzz it is the best .... ZZzzzZZZZ no dont check out the others....ZZZZZzzz"
they can make their own decision... based on the features of the mods

The description of mods is not something very objective and critic. I won't go out and tell "Oh well, this is my mod, it's very unbalanced and crashes often, but it still has plenty of neat features!", now would I?
I think the best way to know if a mod is good or not is to ask around. The mod makers will always try promoting their own creation, logically. Only users will be able to tell what the administrators won't. Of course, promoting your own mod is less objective, but that's a low point in having an active community. On this, I can agree with you. However, I don't think most people do that on purpose. They do it because they honestly think their mods are nice, and since I didn't play most, I have nothing to say against this.
