This is a good way to maybe attract new players to Freelancer and also this community.

I really think that is a very good idea.
But we're going to have to convinc the rest of the gaming world that Freelancer is far from dieing. For that to happen...we're going to need a plan and some seriously inventive ideas.

I'm still working on a major mod that should change the Face of Freelancer and breath some new life back into it.

Dieing? We still have more than 1000 players playing Freelancer on the weekend!

Imagine this number to be 2000 or more, imagine all the more-active communities, more crowded FLServers (more than two 50+ppl servers at one time).. in the end its all about the player numbers.

With things like FLHook, FLShell, all the great ideas from different FLServer communites, RP Servers, we already have a HUGE amount of gameplay possibilities to offer.
Oh, I forgot to actually mention all the different mods.

I voted, but shows Freelancer as only having 1 vote :/

So either I was the first, or it's lying. Anyways, it took 20 seconds, which is well worth it

Something seems really odd about this.
I went to take a look and cast a vote for Freelancer...
but found nothing there which would allow me to vote.

Theres a "vote" link under the gotm box on the lower left corner, it goes to a long list of games, including FL.

I've had a good experience with online gamming for FL, which sadly cannot go the same for games I've recently quit because of all the abuse. Don't play: Runescape, or Habbohotel. Anyway, I'm about to cast my vote for FL, it deserves it!
