old demo?

old demo?

I wonder if there are any old versions of the demo?

I saw a screenshot of Freelancer while it was still in development, and I found it quite interesting -- it looked considerably different. Is it possible to find an old demo which looks and plays differently than the finished game?

I've played the finished game many times through, and the "current" demo just for kicks. Hopefully there's an older demo that I could check out for fun also.

Those pictures, I believe, were from the beta. Unfortunately even if someone had that beta it would be covered by a NDA, so they wouldn't be able to give it out anyway

Normally only a single version of a demo is publicly released. I've heard a few people on here beta tested the FL. Games regularly go through multiple beta versions. Some of which can include some fairly large changes and dumping of unfinished features. Beta testers are usually required to sign a NDA and return all beta testing material to the developer.

If anyone on here still has a beta version of FL maybe they could quietly post it somewhere.
