Earth-4275
I was hoping to do a mod that was based on the future of earth in quite a few years. This mod would have no relation at all to the freelancer/starlancer story. I have a site up at earth-4275.tripod.com, so go take a look for the history/story and such. But the kinds of changes I would like to make would be as follows:
-6 nations with supporting factions
-Instead tons of pirate factions, one or two pirate factions, but each nation would have its own priviteer faction.
-New Ships (45 in total, no original ships)
-New Weapons (54 types, each going from levels 1-10, no original weapons)
-New Systems (66 systems, no original ones)
-New Large Ships(battleships, cruisers, ect.)
-Buyable power sources, engines, armor upgrades, scanners, tractors, radar
-Assasin Weapon (very slow shot, but long range, and invisible, only useful if you have a stationary target, or are an amazing shot)
-More types of nanobots/shield batteries (like three of each)
-New Jump Effects (7 different ones)
-Missiles bounce you around when you get hit
MP only:
-Choose a faction, become aligned with them, and start off at their home planet)
-Choose a costume (not just Trent)
If possible
-Radar Jammers (reduces radar range)
-Flares (either use a mine or countermeasure, but bright flash over time, no dmage)
-Cruise Disrupter Proofing (device that means you are immune to cruise disrupters)
So people, what do you think? Any suggestions/comments? Anyone want to help me out. I currently only need ships, but any other help would be appreciated.
