Freelancer fan gathering
Those of you who read the front page, would have read this news post, well, I want to use this thread to discuss ideas and answer questions. I'll start by answering questions in the comments on the newspage.

OK, I know I skipped some questions, lets see.
The idea for using Teamspeak, I thought about that, but I figured, say we can get a 1000 people, it will be chaos if all tried to speak at once, but in an IRC, the chaos would be a little less, as it will be easier to read than to listen.
OK, that could be a crazy argument, but it was the way I thought, if this idea progresses, I'll ask bp to run a poll asking whether people will prefer IRC,MSN, TS or whatever, we'd probably go with the one that got the most votes.
Thing is, we'll need a lot of people to make this work.
I'll work a bit on what time it would be, it will be during a weekend, and erm...we'll see about the rest
I'm trying to think what else I wanted to say, but at the moment I can't remember, please ask if you want to know something.
I do not have all that much knowledge about IRCs(assuming we use that) so I'm not sure what the absolute maximum people is that can be in one(OK it probably depends ons the server) So we migh split it up on different servers, or something like that, ideas on this will be appreciated.
I like the idea of filling up Multiplayer servers, the problem with this is that you cut out all the 56k-ers and lower...however... we could always organise a series of weekend filling up as many servers as possible...maybe someone will start a seperate thread planning that?
Anohow, thats it from me. I'm basically only online during weekends and once a week, so if i take a while to respond to questions, please be patient

This is indeed a good idea. But I have one question... as stated in the news... "we need to show Microsoft how much we like this game"... is it bec. microsoft didnt agreed to make the 3rd installment of this game?
