Comand Your own fleet

Has anyone ever thought about making a mod that enables you to fly a entire fleet of ships. If u can control a fleet of ships as one ship the entire game will be more interesting. If a mod maker can come up with a mod that allows a players to fly a fleet of ships, including 1 battleship, 2 cruisers, 3 gunboats, and 5 fighters, for every nationality, they would surely be the most famous mod maker. I am asking for the help of all moders. If anyone can create a mod like this... THey will be a hero.

Perhaps you could make one giant CMP of all the ships..... thats the only way i can see you piloting a fleet. Because it is impossible to own, rent or make follow a group of ships, having a load of ships pretending to be one is the only way.

As noted, with the game engine the way it is, you can not own more than one ship. Unlike tacheon:Beyonydd the fring where you could by several.

X2 is one of the space sims which allows this if I recall, but Combat really lacks in this game at times. But as the previous posters have said, the engine atm doesn't allow it.

You can have ships follow you, but not under your control. You have to mod it to do so.
