It's been taken down, due to some problems belived to be involved with it and the site going down. They are working, the Admins, to fix the problem.

That's good, because I've been trying to find a website I linked here months ago, just can't remember the name now.

I hope they are successful in their endeavor for the sake of beginer modders such as myself. Without this feature would mean hours of reading post just to solve a problem or for adding features to mods. One of the most common responses I've seen in the Editing Forums is that "That question has been asked before...search the forums". Without a Search funtion the net result will be repeated questions. I hope this doesn't sounds like a flame for it is not...just respecfully awaiting the Admin's evolution.

I'm having a problem where on my nav map, the systems aren't linked to each other with lines.... e.g. New York system has a line going to the Colorodo system in the "universe" nav map showing they're linked...

I want to try and reinstall to see if that'll fix..

but i want to keep my saved game...

My ultimate question is: Where do i find the savegame folder so i can make a copy of it so i don't have to start ALL OVER?

I swear to god, i'm going to KILL bill gates and nuke microsoft >_<

THOSE people PUT SAVED GAMES IN THE "MY DOCUMENTS" FOLDER!!! WTF?!?!?!

!@#$%@#$^$&

Edit - be nice, a rule here is no flaming MS.

What's the big deal about putting saved games in My Documents?

you could try using google to search. You can restrict it to a certian site. I don't think its much good on a forum though as forums change to frequently so its spider will have out of date information (it may also have been excluded from certian pages)

Actually it doesn't seem to be holding any cache of the forums data so I expect its not indexing it possibly because the forum might be transmitting no cache headers

And i wouldn't insult MS if I were you, the admins seem to like them for some reason. They are even running Microsoft-IIS/6.0 even though everyone knows Apache HTTPD is a much better choice

And the problem of stuff being stored in my documents is you don't expect it to be there. I only just managed to find the files now. Why can't MS even use there own system propery? isn't this what the apllication data directory is for? MS dump other programs settings in there so why not FLs? and for some reason my folder is "hidden", but that might of be because I hid a few folders and might of accidently apllied it to FLs folder.

ehm... New York and Colorado systems are connected, there are both Jump Gate and Jump Hole linking them.

yup those lines wont be shown until you go through the jumpgate from new york to colorado.

Any sufficently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
