need to convert the demo version of FL to full version

Hi guys i just found out that some of the mods dont work with the trial version of freelancer. Is it possible to make them work? Also is it possible to convert a demo version to a full version?

Nope, only thing you can do to get the full version, is to buy it. Sorry.

The game has been out a couple of years now. The price is way down. Buy it.

Just looked at eBay. Got FL as low as US 8 or 9 bucks and GBP 1. Starlancer is only US $3!!!

p.s. What are these "add ons" for FL listed on eBay???

A quick glance at the item description reveals that the "add-ons" are just various mods that the seller has downloaded--probably from right here on TLR--and burned to a CD.

Ya and i wouldn't have trouble believing the mods aren't the only thing they've stolen. Someone could point this out to ebay or microsoft i guess,but it seems so blatant that they must already know and not care(microsoft i mean)

He is 'selling' his service of downloading and burning them. He makes mention that they are free under the public domain. I heard about this several months ago, and he was doing it at about $0.99 or something incredibly cheap. I didn't look at postage, as unless the guy sells about one hundred a week, its probabily more effort than its worth (due to price of CD's etc).

People should chill a bit more, its not like he is charging $15 per CD for a single mod only - its a whole bunch of em, and its $0.99 (or thereabouts). Under Ebay rules and regs, he isn't actually breaking any rule - as they are publicily available items for download.

i know of a server that makes players pay money to own systems

Crossfire server has players pay money to own systems... the money goes towards the upkeep of the server they say...
