I go through those systems on a regular basis, usually heading between Liberty and Rheinland. Can't say as I stop there for any length of time though.

Gota love those juicy transports in Hudson, swoop in on the trade lane with a "Dromedary" Freighter, hit a couple of transports, and then bury the throttle back to Padua base with a cargohold full of stolen goods with transport escorts in hot pursuits

I enjoy the IW's, especially bering, even though all criminal bases there are hostile (though I am friendly with the Xenos). They are more vibrant and dangerous than liberty, and its enjoyable simply to park your ship in an atseroid field and take in the sights and sounds. It's like the bloodhound fighter. it technically isnt great or cool, but I just inexplicably enjoy it.

I like the Omicron theta area; Outcast territory. I can trade at Planet Malta and take some very profitable, very challenging missions agaisnt the Bounty Hunter's Guild.
But I prefer the Corsair Border Worlds--Omega 11 through Omicron Gamma. Lots of fun annihilating Red Hessians and you can pick up artifacts at Planet Crete and sell them in Rheineland.
The best part though is attacking enough commercial freighters and transports to get the Outcasts and Corsairs to let you land.

I just atatcked Red hessians and outcasts. Soon the Corsairs and Xenos where very pleased, along with the Hogosha and FA. Also, the Hispania misiions are laughably easy (though I never save after completiion them since th BH's are my allies). Unless I encounter IMMENSE groups of BH's during the mission, its a breeze.
