help, cant get past level 8

hI, im not sure if this is a glich or not but im a level 8 and it says that my required amount of money is 51 thousand and sum, but when I went over that number i did level up, rite now im at 58 k and still havent leveled up, how do i fix this?

Mike, take a mission or two, and you'll have enough. You can find these in the bar. I'm going to leave this here for now, but any cheats, and we go to the spoiler forum.... hotay?

Mike this is becoming a common problem,if you playing story mode then basically you've corrupted your save game.your best bet is to delete the autosave file in your save game folder and use one of the ingame saves instead.It will mean redoing the last mission again but thats better than starting over.

Actually, any savegame can become corrupt, eevn standard ones. Make sure you save befor eand after every mission, it really sucks to have to redo 1/4 the story due to 1 corrupt savegame.
