I'm not going agianst you or anything but i dont understand why this is advertising...hes not making money off it...hes just telling us about it...i could see why its in this catiogre....just wondering....

Hard to tell from just the pics if it is really an FL imitation. I do recall that a Russian company was supposed to be working on an updated Elite type game. Don't think this is it though.

It's no FL imitation, it's something completely different. It's a space-tactic game with RPG elements. The only things it has common with freelancer are it's setting (space) and that you'll be able to discover quite a lot of additional stuff for your ship. My guess would be it's more Homeworld + Privateer + Diablo like than anything else. It's current release date is the 24th of March, 2005. Oh, btw, the game is called "Star Wolves".

Also, you could do a little search for the game "Space Rangers", another cool space adventure / action / trading / missions / storyline / exploration type of game.

And while you're at it, you could do a search for "Flatspace" and "Escape Velocity", too

This is no advertisement, just a collection of titles I find interesting and think that maybe others would find them interesting, too.

Advertising is, posting a link to another site, in an effort to promote it, it is also called trolling, and it is not allowed. If you like another site/game, you can add a link in your sig, but not create a thread for it. Discussion of a game is allowed, in Off topic only. But, just posting a link to a game in a thread is advertising. Sorry.

I downloaded the free demo for Star Wolves, but so far I haven't been able to get it to work on my machine. After the title sequence runs, it just puts up a static starscape and plays music. Very soothing and restful.
