2 Newbie questions

Hi, I have played freelancer for a very long time, but I am only taking an interest in modding and stuff now. I don't play MP too.

So I just want to ask, is there a mod to have more battleships and missions against battleships in the game? I looked in file libraries but all the mods have something else attached like new factions, I want everything to stay as it is but have the opportunity to fight against something more than some little fighters, you know like battleships patrolling trade lanes and stuff, is that possible?

And also, have you noticed that the exhaust on the (NPCs) Corsairs' titan is sort of pink-purple, like on the Anubis, but whenever YOU fly the titan tge exhaust is white? Anyone know how to fix this, this happens to me with the Hammerhead too.

There is a special Battleship encounters Mod out there, but i've never played so you have to check in the News Archive of this site.
But I can remember that ReBalanceMod 1.4 started to have BS encounters without changing too much the original Game play. And then RB 2.01 brought (quote) "random missions strikes against Capital ships have been greatly enhanced, you'll get missions against multiple Capital ships escorted by Destroyers, Cruisers or Gunboats."

You will have fun with a - eehrm, yes - rebalanced FL.

But imo you would better go to ReBalance 3.40 or TNG (The Next Generation) or another of the Big Mods. Why ? Because they bring a lot of NEW fun to the game - even for singleplayers as you and me.

i've downloaded Rebalance, but didn't find any battlships in missions (only done 2) and i don't like the starting ship (some modern bomber model)....
and the battleship encounter mod isn't extreamly good, it just adds battleship to the paths where policec would go, but great fun attacking them and see how many you can kill with sunslayer before been killed
