about a month ago someone posted the recipe for a sidewinder fang, but I have no idea where it is now. Could someone repost it here for me cause that drink sounds kick ass

SIDEWINDER'S FANG
Purely by accident I found a recipe for Sidewinder's Fang in the June 1983 Issue of Bon Appetite..from the Mai Kai Polynesian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. It's a "Tiki" drink served in a brandy snifter (probably with one of those paper umbrellas LOL) Recipe is as follows: 6 Servings

16 ice cubes
3/4 cup fresh lime juice
3/4 cup fresh orange juice
3/4 cup club soda
3/4 cup Puerto Rican Golden Rum
6 tablespoons Jamaican Rum
6 tablespoons 86 proof Demerera Rum
1/4 cup sugar syrup *
2 tablespoons orgeat syrup *
6 dashes aromatic bitters
6 fresh mint sprigs (garnish)
Coarsely crush ice cubes in blender. Add all remaining ingredients Except mint & mix until just blender. Strain over whole ice cubes in large brandy snifters. Garnish with mint & serve immediately.

* Available in most liquor stores
No wonder the bartender on Manhattan didn't have the ingredients!
