Mapping the universe

Hi all

I've seen the forums, searched and viwed parts of info but to no complete conclusion, Is there any way to download a MOD/file that i can then UPLOAD into Freelancer for a full view of the galactic map.

I explored the whole galaxy once, but re-installed freelancer and wanted to have a full map as
1. really dont want 2 spend ages searching again
2. for LAN multiplayer gameing with frenids

Thx
Luke

Freelancer DataStorm. It'll read your system's files give you complete maps as well as trade routes, bases, what's for sale there, and more. Check the downloads section for it.

Nope FL Datastorm is a great program, but he wants to upload the whole map IN freelancer. hmmm i believe it's possible with the ioncross server operator, that means you can only do it on a server you run yourself

Use the Ioncross Character Editer

Does anybody know how many bases there are? I've just completed a One-mission-per base tour and flown missions from 169 bases. Is that all or is there one more somewhere I've missed?

My quick calculation revealed 175 bases, but there are 6 bases which are story only, leaving you with 169. So well done, you've got them all!

system editor is a good one for not just the unmodded freelancer it is also good for any mod out there. what it does is let you edit a system but while edititing them it will show everything in the system. so in a way you can use this program to map the universe. or change it. which thanks to the author of this program is incredibltly easy to do.

Blessed Be to all those that still dream of the flight to the stars.

Well, I've already flown the plot missions, so the "story " bases, including the one in Alaska, are included in that total. That means I've overlooked 6 of them! Curses!!
Speaking of which, I'm now looking for an Eagle. TLR 's reference info says it' s sold on Freeport 9 in Omicron Theta. My Omicron Theta map doesn't show it and the patrol paths map doesn't indicate where it might be.
Any hints as to what sector it's in??

Thanks
