What he means is that this question has been asked before. Search for words like "level" and "advance" in the Search box and you'll discover countless old threads in which this issue is addressed.

Well, we have a 'technical help' forum - which is dedicated for solving issues and problems. I would suggest having a peak in there. The levelling up issue has been covered in there many many times, but its still the most asked question going. The main answer is 'did you install the microsoft 1.1 patch?' (you aren't supposed to) as that can affect the levelling up issue. Other issues come from running of mods etc.

Please check out that forum, and have a quick search of other threads. Certainly try searching that forum (search button) - you will have to select the correct forum in the drop down menu, and search for level or something - as mentioned before.
