Freighter lv 8 shield

Why is there a lv 8 shield for freighters, when the humpback, which i presume is the best and most advanced freighter, can't carry anything above lv 7?

hey welcome to TLR, and to answer your wuestion i have no idea! also i think the dromdary might be at or above the humpbacks level

some things are partly in the game but never really got fully in the game. another example is: that 3 ships have a lvl 10 turret mount while there aint any lvl 10 turret in the game. there are some other examples of this.

well, ther are class 10 FR. shields, I guess its for ppl who like to mod

It's just another thing that feels unfinished. Like Dragonfire said, there are plenty of examples - the Unknown systems being two.

There are always three versions of a shield. Light fighter, heavy fighter, and freighter. it just happens to be that no ship can support a class 8 freighter shield.
