There's an ad on the front site for something like that.

Some questions I have...
If you throw a cat out a car window does it become kitty liter?
If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
Why did kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
Why do people who know the least know it the loudest?

Let me put it to you like this, when you have anything remotley classified as a monitor to look at - these glasses are very optional.

The Mercenary Navy - Power Is Everything
Vist The Mercenary Navy Online - Home Of "Fl Server Guard" & "FL Client".

question . do u need a spetial programm to use the glasses?

Post Sun Sep 19, 2004 4:36 am

No. They're just a display device. You might have to install a driver or two on your computer, but you don't need any special programs

the glasses at http://www.edimensional.com/products/edglasses.htm you do need to install a program according to the description. freelancer was on the compatibility list. i might buy them. heres a good video about them http://solo11.abac.com/edimensional/dow ... 2_250k.wmv you plug both your monitor and video card into this thing. then install the software and wear the glasses. i would recommend the wired over wireless ones because not only is it cheaper but you dont need to replace the battery.

From the product's page:

CRT monitor (no laptops or LCD screens).

This holds true for TFTs, too.

i just couldnt take reading about them anymore so i was forced to order a pair. i'll let everyone know how they work with freelancer.

Post Thu Sep 23, 2004 7:42 am

thats good. but isnt it bad to have your eyes close to a screen?

Post Thu Sep 23, 2004 9:59 am

LCD = TFT. Its just another name.

I emailed then months ago about the LCD problem and they say that they are making a LCD version.

they finally came in. came with a cracked drivers cd which pissed me off but i found a site with the drivers. the game looks really cool in true 3d. especially when you land or launch from bases. it gets a tad blurry but the 3d makes up for it. i would recommend it if you have the extra cash. it beats buying a 3d monitor for $1500 especially when reviews say the glasses are better.

i forgot to add. the text can be difficult to read sometimes in 3d mode. kinda sucks on multiplayer but you get used to it.
