noob questions

i been playing for several months now but i still consider myself a newb. i have a few questions and would appreciate any feedback. here goes:

What advantages does the Saber have over the Titan?

Whats the best way to use missles?

What turrets work with the Titan?

Heres my ship so far.
Ship: Titan
Shield: Adv. Brigandine H.F.
Guns: Salamanca Mk 1 x2 (changing soon)
Nomad Energy Blaster x2
Nomad Energy Cannon x2
Turret: Can't find anything that works yet
Mine: Ripper
Torpedo: Starkiller (Chaning to Sunslayer when I find it)

What would you recommend changing?

Sabre has less armor and power plant power, but has a foward firing turret.

To use missiles, thrust at your target and fire missiles from 500-100m distance.

A titan doesn't need a turret because it's kind of useless. Use a salamanca turret or the skyblast turret b.

Titan:
1x tizona del cid
5x kraken type 2
ripper mine, hornet/wasp(don't use torp), cm's

or

2x tizona del cid
4x purple blasters/4x purple cannons.
mine, cd, cm's

strafe! the three VHF's are equal in strength

Titan: More armour
Sabre: Forward turrent

When the enemy flies straight at you, fire the missle, higher chance of hitting

Any turrent since you wint use it as it b****** doesnt fire to the front

Heres my recommendation:
Ship: Titan
Shield: Adv. Champion Gravitational Sheild
Guns: Tel di Cid or have a lvl 9 missle and a cid
Nomad Energy Blaster/ Energy Cannon x4
Turret: Any thing
Mine: Razor ( Ithink)

Why have a VHF when a Valkyrie Will do

My Loadout

Rhienland Valkyrie

2 Vassago Laser Cannons
2 Gendaito Laser Cannons
1 Catapult Missile Launcher
1 Winchester Turret
1 Wasp Cruise Disruptor
1 Razor Mine Dropper
Adv Thruster and Countermeasure
Adv Protector HF Shield

1 Adv Stunpulse
1 Adv Tarantula
2 Pyros Type 1
1 Pyros Turret
1 Ripper Mine

He's not asking what you're flying. He's asking for improvements to his config as it stands.

If you're in a Titan, the turret really doesn't matter too much, because it can't fire forward. Leave the turret mount alone.

Standard class 10 ship loadouts:

2x TDC
4x Blaster

OR

1x TDC
1x Wyrm2/Skyblast B/Firekiss 2/Hornviper 2/Kraken 2/Salamanca 2 - take your pick
4x Blaster

If you find that the Blasters make the game too easy, replace them with whatever you want, really. There are a load of class 9 weapons to choose from.

I think the Sabre also turns better (although it's probably just a matter of perception), and the forward turret acts like another gun, so it has a slight firepower advantage. Sabre also sounds and looks cooler in my opinion. --- VH16

i am sorry but "the sabre?" *frowns* i am a Valkrye perosn maily and i can tell you that is the best ship ever!

thanks everyone for the recommendations. is it really ok to use a kraken gun since the speed is 700 and the speed on the others is 600? isnt it best to keep all the guns at the same speed?
