Light Fighter: Good turning rates
Freighter Fighter: A Freighter used as a fighter. Lots of guns. Bad turning.
Heavy Fighter: best of both worlds.

FF: 15
HF: 15

Err, vhf's hold 70. A dromedary holds 275. VHF's are for fighting, frieghters are for trading. Light fighters are ships with less guns than heavy fighters but usually more manuverability.

Yeah, who uses a freighter as a fighter? They are for TRADING. Light fighters and Heavy fighters and Very Heavy fighters are for fighting. Also, this IS a favorite ship contest!

Am i the only person whos used a rhino and mule as Fighters? they work pretty well, having 8 guns.

Yeah, and the humpback can mount level ten, if I remember correctly (which I probably do not). I wouldn't want to challenge one in a lower level ship. But, with their lack of dogfighting skils, I wouldn't want to delibrately take one into a frefight either. --- VH16

Humpback mounts level 7.

All freighters have 8 gun mounts.

I use freighters as fighters, the rhino and the clysdale, and in the rebalance mod i use the leviathan.
