Submit your Fan Fiction to TLR

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know there is a newly created Fan Fiction Forum for you to read excellent FL stories, comment on and to add some yourself of course.
There is also the recently added Fan Fiction page on TLR. I already have a few stories on there (some are from the TLR archives) and I have about 10 to 15 more to put up there, so expect to read some more good stories soon.

If you want to submit Fan Fiction to TLR, please do so and I'll see if I can put them up there on the Fan Fic page. But keep in mind I do screen all the submitted stories for suitable content and based on that I make a decision, so not all stories might make it to the page. You'll be notified by e-mail about the definitive decision.

FL fan fiction can be send to me at [email protected]

Happy writing!

does the story have to be finished before it can go on the page?

Is there a size limit? I have a whopper of a story written....

No, the story don't have to be finished, because if there are multiple chapters, than it's ok to submit the chapters you have right now. Then people will read it and want more. When you submit more chapters, I can put it up the page then, but just remember it's not advisable to submit every single little add-on to the story. Then just wait a bit untill you have some more and then submit it to me.

About size limit: Well, right now I don't see why I should limit it. I say the more the better

Happy writing!

Couple of questions:

1)How long is it usually going to take you to look at the fictions submitted as i have a f fair few more chapters to mine other than the ones i have already submitted. Obviously, if its not going up on the fan fiction page, i don't want to keep sending you the chapters in block as its a waste of your time.

2) Suitable content clarification: I assume this is swearing, sex etc.. but it is very vague, would it be possible to elaborate on suitable content please.

Thanks

As to your first question:

I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I've read most of the submitted stories already, including yours. It's a very good story, so if you have more than please send those other chapters in as well. I hope to have some more time this week to put the stories up the fan fiction page.

About your second question:

With 'suitable content' I meant sex, cursing etc, just keeping in mind TLR is a family oriented site for all ages. Also with suitable content I meant stories that actually take place inside the FL universe and not a completely other universe (you might think 'Duh!', but that's not so obvious for everyone... trust me ).

Hope this answers your questions.

Eraser, I will have to submit my fanfic one episode at a time due to some problems with my Word Prosessor. So far I have in devolipment Chaos Theory and I have completed Captured.

So I will have to Email them one at a time to you. If this is OK then please let me know before I send them. (I dont want to waste your time if your not going to put it up.)

I am working on a big Freelancer story at the moment to submit and I might also post it on this forum but I think maybe a fan fiction forum might be a good ideas for those fond of RPGs

Hi,
I'm trying to post my story but keep getting an error message. Then, when I refresh and try posting again, I'm told "no need to post twice"!

Finally, I refresh the fan fic page and can't see my post

Each post has a limit in regards to the amount of text in it. You probably wanted to post the entire story in one post and it won't except that because it's too much text. Try cutting your story in multiple sections and post part 1 in the first post and then continue to post after that, so you still have the story as a whole, but just not in the same post.

Hey Eraser, I was wondering if you ever got my story.
I sent it to you a few months ago.
Thanks!
