In the FAQ's of this website it says i can manually take a ship into a station but i can't fiqure out how to do it. can any1 tell me how???

To mine stuff, go into an asteroid field/gas cloud/lava field(Dangerous) maked on the minable zones on your map. Once you're in the field shoot all the really tiny rocks that bounce off your ship occasionally.

You have to use low power guns to mine. Use the big ones and you'll blow the ore to bits! Things that can be mined: water, gold, diamonds, copper, cobalt, silver, scrap metal, hydrocarbons, alien organisms etc. But notice that some asteroid fields are either totally mined out already or almost so. You need to search for the best areas to mine and find the best places to sell what you get.

I'd reccommend mining near a criminal base, if you're friendly with them. Most of the time, those fields will yield more mineable resources.

There's a scrap metal field in New Berlin that has a high yield of loot and it's right next to Dortmund smelter, which will give you top credits for the stuff. --- VH16

is good mining areas the same for every1 who plays the game in sp mode or is it random?

all the good mining is preset, but you have to find them yourself (or ask in spoilers)

tau 37 is probably the best place to mine, there you have a 80% chance of getting somthing everytime you shoot one of the small rocks. i think it is Niobium

Um...you can manually take a ship into a station. You can't access any of the feature of said station...but you can fly right into the docking bay just like it says in the FAQ

I should know, I believe I wrote that little gem.

when you dock with a station the doors will open as u auto land but if you fly right into the station without docking then the doors wont open so how do u enter the landing bay

They will open for you...just target the station and try not to bounce off too many walls on the way out.
