Need Advice

I've been reading all these stories written about Freelancer, So I've been wondering if I should start one of my own. Mind you, I'm not really a great writer, and I suck when it comes to detail. But I just thought it would give me somthing to do in my spare time. Post here what you think

Sorry Winston, but someone had to change it.

And if it really does suck, then just don't release it. Fanfics are a great hobby, and a good way to kill some time, even if you never post them. I got a long one going about a coup in the Liberty millitary that I have no intention to release, but I still have a hell of a lot of fun writing it. Godspeed. --- VH16

@GENERAL STRATOS

Here we are again, you using that signature over and over in the SAME thread. I've asked you about this before. Stop being lazy or lose access to the site...period. I'm not laughing.

Just wanting to know, were you talking to me, or General Stratos?

Just out of curriosity, have you ever cemented all the etiquitte laws of TLR into one thread or sticky or something? I know the rules about sigs and flaming and spamming are scattared throughout the site, but is there one source for all of our sacred bylaws, and any place they can be appealed? --- VH16

Actually, I never knew that all these forums existed on Lancersreactor. I thought it was only about clans mods, and things like hints, and tips. So I have no idea what you just asked No, I'm not a noob to the game though

The basics are in the FAQ the sig one has grown because of the exccessive use of sigs that make the threads longer or harder to read what is post and what is sig. Wizard had posted this on sigs.

Folks, we run a pretty loose ship around here. This also holds true for some of the lesser known "rules" about posting. It all boils down to something called common courtesy...which can be subjective at times.

Posting large pictures in threads is forwned upon because the majority of internet users use dial-up access.

Posting your signature more than once per thread is just annoying. We don't have avatars (yet) and seeing the same sig several times makes the thread hard to read.

Posting here is a privledge, not an entitlement here. We ask nicely many times. In GS's situation, it was quite a few times before the hint was taken. A threat of banning back then stopped it (the sig was offensive) so simply cutting to the chase this time seemed to be the logical path here. GS is not new to this forum and KNOWS better.

Stinger had asked GS on MANY seperate occasions over the past month to stop posting his sig and to change the offensive one he had. But he didn't, so he deserves everything he gets
