the maker of Privateer???

Is he the same person that made Freelancer? I could have sworn that I read this somewhere, but i'm not sure anymore.
I loved Privateer, but suprisingly i didn't get into wing commander.

in WC, I felt like I was lead along but in Privateer I had the freedom to do what I wanted just like in Freelancer. I like having the freedom to develop my character and not be forced into some chain of events.

Microsoft and Digital anvil made freelancer. No relation to Priv.

On the main page, there is info links about the gaem. You can see a inteview by some of the mods with the dev team, and factual info on Chris Roberts etc etc. Have a read.

Chris Roberts was in the fray when DA started the project. As far as links to Privateer? Privateer was the inspiration for FL AND DA did consult with Arthur DiBianca, the Lead Programmer and designer of Privateer.
