I have been hanging around the dublin system and, I have seen the Britonan battlships Primary secondary and flak turrets. They use the beam weaopons from the intro! Everything Matches! The impact-dispercal, Weapon flash and the firing rate! Always leave it up to the british to use Silviot equipment. Oh, another thing i recognised. The yellow weaopons-fire comeing from the planet and colony ships, The Kusari use them frequently.
Has cade got i thing about the British, The guns of a Bretonion Battleship are nothing lke those of Coalition ships on the opening sequence, id say the Liberty ships are more like Coalition guns.
Or when the sleeper ships were launched they had data on all known weapons at the time in there data banks.
Or its just COINCIDANCE

nope, the guns are completely different, checked it myself using chips' openSP mod (THX CHIPS!!!)
The Coalition guns (checked in both original and release versions) are linear beam weapons, with slight bulging instabilities in some of thier slower guns.
Bretonia guns are Linear PARTICLE, and include a 'twining' effect around the blast particle itself that acts as a very impressive-looking trail.
The guns are different, and that is that!

Maybee the modded version is different. It whasent dezined to be modded-to-be-flyable! Capital ship guns are like the prototypes ( Dimondback for an example ) in that they arent Tachion, Nutron and sutch. Oh, and checking from starlancer isn't feasable, because the intro takes place at least fifty years after.
