The best runn is ... Wherever,the trade lanes call for you, When the going is good and when you are in you're prime.

Best run, I've found... is several pieces together. It generates a lot of income, especially if you're flying a Humpback with it's el massivo cargo hold.

1. Diamonds from Solarius Station to Planet New Tokyo
2. Water from Planet New Tokyo to Planet Baden-Baden
3. Oxygen from Planet Baden-Baden to Solarius Station

And all around again and again. And nothing illegal! It's not a perfect circuit... but it's darn close. Just watch out going in and out of Solarius. Lots of Hessians in that region.

Ilegal way: Find a transport in texas or in other system of Liberty, that contains a cargo of alien organizams and sell em in newark near manhattan.
Or get em with no problem in fields that contain them (Sorry but it will be a spoiler if I will tell you where).
I do missions to get cash. First for Liberty, then foe Rheinland, Bounty hunters and the corsiars.
