Ok why have i heard of this system called Bremen thats owned by Rheinland.

Is it a mod.

IM SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is an actual city in germany called Bremen, maybe thats the one you are thinking of?

wasn't the Bremen a Rheinland Battleship in teh storyline or something? The one blocking the jumphole at some point?
Other then that in teh unmodded game there is no Bremen.

I beleive it is a battleship at some point, however, it does appear on the official FL website for some reason, along with another Kusari system, Okinawa. Niether of these are in the game.

I'm talking about an accualy system in freelancers named Bremen.

I was sure there was a jumphole from Dresden to Gamma once. Then I figured out I had been playing Rebalance (very old verion) and the original didn't have one there...

if you can tell us which system you were (where in the system would be helpful) in at the time where you saw the system, assuming it came up on your nav map, or how you got there, either jump gate or hole, we could try a search for it. after all, we can't say FL is *fully* explored, even though pretty much everything's been found. or it seems that way.

if it existed wouldnt it be in the Universe folder? and even if it wasn't, im sure it would have to be in an INI somewhere...

I think the original plans for Freelancer were to include an extra 2 systems, the Bremen and Okinawa systems. Although for some reason they were dropped from the final version of the game.

The only mention of Bremen in the game is the one posted in the news bulletins during the single player campaign. It is the city to where the Kusari citizen hostages were relocated to after Rheinland attacked Honshu.

In Freelancer there isn't a system called Bremen. But I am from Germany and I know that Bremen is a big city.

After the SP campaign there are several romours, mentioning the contruction of the the Bremen and here sister ship.
It Could also mean a city on an already settled planet.

Is it possible that Bremen is some plannet or moon in an established Rheinland system that you can't dock with, and thus would escape our knowledge? It might also explain that one news story, unless it was refering to a system, at which point we're back to square one. --- VH16
