I'm guessing you're in Bretonia at the mo from that weapon config. Well, kill some Corsairs and see if you can loot yourself an Angelito or two

About the lavablade, Plasma weapons are very energy efficient ie for a set amount of energy, Plasma outputs a lot more damage, but they have the huge drawback of a snail's projectile speed and the slow refire rate

there are lots of weapons that are better little monkey it all depends on what class of weapons your fighter can hold in its hardpoints. If u do some exploring u should find better ones

Careful with the spoilers people.

The Lavablades are good but because they fire at a slow rate you have to aim very carefully.
The Justices however, with their fast firerate are a better choice if your aim isn't as precise (like mine ). It is a little weaker overall, but the chance that you actually hit your enemy is a lot bigger.

Seeing as are probably unable to get hold of Junstices at this point, try to get some weapons with a high refire rate if your aiming is bad, or lower refire rate if your aiming is good. That's the best tip I can give you.

I'm avery good aim but i still have two fast firing things so I can easily destroy shields is that any good?

I'm not sure whether you need 2 adv stunpulses. I just used one through almost the whole campaign, and it still ripped through shields quickly enough. My other weapons were Corsair

One stunpulse is good enough for a shield. But only if you plan to use missiles. A good set of guns can take out any shield just as quickly and is effective against hulls aswell. A shieldkiller is only effective against shields () and does hardly any damage to the hull. That's why you might want to add a missile launcher.
It's all optional though and if you don't feal comfortable using missiles (you gotta get used to using them) a full gun loaout is just as good.

The main thing is, stunpulses use huge amounts of energy, so after the shield is gone they're useless and only consume energy. Missiles counter this by not using energy and make for fast kills too. They cost money thoughso your timing has to be right.

Basically, for me anyway, it comes down to 2 loadouts: Shieldkiller/missiles and full guns/no shieldkillers.

For the last one btw, it might be wise to collect several types of guns, for each shield type one gun so you can take on any shield, thus simulating a shieldkiller loadout.

Both work good for me

Did I just make sense? Oh boy, my daft powers are leaving me. I can feel it... Good bye cruel world...
