The Only One?

I might be wrong, but it seems to me that out of all the people in the entire Sirius sector, Trent is the only freelancer. Is he really the only person who isn't affiliated with anybody, or is it just assumed there's other you don't come into contact with or hear about?

In SP, he's it. In MP lots of people can be freelancers, or what ever they want.

All the other NPC FL die I guess. Being on your own is fairly hard. There are alot of wreaks of past FL's around Sirius to find.

There must be quite of few freelancers, since everyone recognises Trent as one from his outfit -- even total strangers. He must be wearing the official freelancer jacket. And if there were only one freelancer, those missions available at every base wouldn't make any senese! Would factions posts all sorts of missions, just hoping that Edison Trent will come along some day and fly them???

Actually, sw, if some one could find a way to replace the skeleton, you could use a female, just with trents voice. You can swap body parts, but due to the skeleton, the arms move wrond or seem to disapear sometimes. Juni is different than the president as well. I tried to swap them, but it move wrong as well. I have managed to get trent to look like Lord Hakarah and Orillian, but they fit better.

You do encounter another freelancer in the story line. On Leeds in the equipment dealer. Trent never talks to him but you see him.

There are probably other freelancers in the game. Notice when you arrive to some bars the bartender greets you as a freelancer even though its the first time he has ever seen you.
