Thought on Bounty Hunters Guild (BHG)

How tough are they?
BHG vs Corsairs
BHG vs Outcast
BHG toughness over all?
BHG connection with zoners?

Outcast and Corsairs have alway been stronger then the bounty hunters and the zoners don't faver them and they don't faver outcasts or corsairs.

it depend on what you count on as being stronger as it ship power or over all power.

The BHG are, to a greater or lesser extent, the police: they're friendly with House police and hostile to criminals. They serve as the police in the outlying systems, where the Houses have no control.

Vs the Corsairs and Outcasts, neither side is much stronger (not least because it's easier to program). The BHG tend to have more conflict with the Corsairs though, as they operate in more BH systems.

The first two ships in the BH line are both excellent choices for a player starting out, either in the story or online. However, many people do not consider the Hammerhead to be worthwhile - as for a relatively small amount more you can get your hands on an Eagle or Sabre.

It's debateable how good BH weapons are. They tend to have longer range than equivalent class/type weapons, but sacrifice damage. They're a good choice for the safe player who likes to keep his distance. However, IMO, there are better weapons available for the same prices. This kind of thing will vary from player to player. Pick up a BH ship and some guns, see if they suit your playing style. Just experiment

I'd rather have Corsairs and Outcasts for enemies than bountyhunters. Corsairs and Outcasts are more territorial. Bountyhunters can be found in most systems. On numbers alone, bountyhunters could decimate the homeworlds of Corsairs and Outcasts. Corsairs and Outcasts (maybe Zoners and Red Hessians) will always have the technological edge on bountyhunters.

I've started as a bountyhunter in a few servers (mine especially), and I've noticed that there's at least one faction in every system that hates them. Kinda more of a challenge that way. You really can't trade anywhere in total safety and pretty much need to stay on guard unless you make changes to your reputation.

Surely then, playing as the Corsairs or Outcasts is even better? You can't trade anywhere with much safety at all

outcasts are allied with the rogues, lane hackers and a few other criminal factions, so trading possibilities are still open. Corsairs have no allied at all. They either hate a faction, or are neutral with it, thus making trading tougher to do.

If you work for the "underworld" everybody will love you after you kill some 10's of BH and house police/navy/corporation ships and since you will never be member of a group (not get married with families on crete either) wherever there are enemies friends will be too

Bounty Hunters have worse weapons but more skill If you watch them especially lower levels this is very visible. 1 BHg can take on 3 Rouges and win easily
