Independant Systems

Not many people realize the independant systems as independant, especially the newer players to freelancer, so I just want to inform those that don't yet know. Cortez, Galileo, Kepler, and Bering are all independant systems. Galileo and Kepler are not part of Kusari, or Liberty. Cortez is not part of Bretonia or Liberty. And finally, Bering is NOT part of Rhineland (or Liberty). As I have stated before, this is just to inform those who don't know this, for many people that i have played with on multiplayer don't realize that these systems are independant.

What about Hudson and Magellan? Are they "independant" !!?!

Is Hudson part of Rheinland or Liberty, or is it "Independant" ?!!

Is Magellan part of Liberty or Bretonia, or is it "Indepenant" too !!?!

If you're not part of Bretonia, Rheinland, Kusari or Liberty, then you must be "Independant", or maybe not, as in the case of Edge Worlds, Border Worlds, and Corsair/Outcast Worlds, which are not part of Bretonia, Rheinland, Kusari or Liberty, and not "Independant". Therefore if you're not "Independant" and not a Border World, Edge World, Corsair/Outcast World, you must be part of Bretonia, Rheinland, Kusari or Liberty, and certainly not "Independant". Not many multiplayer players know this!

Hope this makes things more clear!

Not to sound too cynical or anything, but you can simply click the little question mark icon of a system on the Universe map, and in the header there'll be "Bretonia", or "Edge Worlds", "Independent", whatever. That tells you. It's not really that important what the system's called though. More important is what's in it
