Yet another LVL problem

I looked in all the threads concerning this problem, but I couldn't find the answer!

- I finished the SP, and am at lvl 19.
- Next lvl requirement: Mission
- This is where my problem varies from other ones... I CANNOT FIND ANY MISSIONS, none of the bars have missions for me! "come back when you're a more experienced pilot" "no missions right now" "be on friendlier terms with this base for missions" ... Stuff like that!!!

Enormously annoying!

Welcome to TLR.
Well, strange, never happened to me, but things like this have happened in the past. Try trading some commodities and moving into different systems. That should change the level req., or make sure the SP missions are actually over. Good Luck!

You can sometimes get this "Mission" requirement if you have a long way to go to get your next level up. Do some higher-paying missions for a while, see if that changes it to a regular requirement. If it doesn't, I have no idea

Did you install the 1.1 patch - that is the most common cause of levelling problems - as its only intended for servers to stop cheaters!

Have fin SP a few times & noticed MISSION req. All i did was take a mission from job bored & it went away. There have even been times just picking up cargo & taking to another place expungedit. So, can't really say nor understand your difficulty.

It is hard to soar with eagles when you fly with turkeys.

I haven't installed the patch ; and the problem is .. I CANNOT ACCEPT MISSIONS, BECAUSE THERE ARE NONE TO CHOOSE FROM !!!

In the meantime, my current worth is 1 million, and I'm lvl 19 still...

If any of you have a savegame, on which they are on good terms with all authorities, and preferably also with the corsairs, could this person mail it to me on

kriegor(at)skynet.be (and plz be at high level, and able to accept random missions)

There are no missions in the bars and from the men in them? Did you by any chance open Mbases.ini with an ini editing program such as biniQ?

Otherwise - try reinstalling the game - after that its time to suffer. You can download the neutral save game file in the downloads section of this site, or use Open SP instead. Find the save game yourself in downloads, as i have no idea what section its in, and you will have to sift through all 297 mods (*or however many there are - should take about 5 minutes of your time, but it is in there).

Yeah, I downloaded the neutral save... *grrr* ... My map was complete, and this dude's save isn't ... Gonna take me a while, but it's better than not lvl'ing up I guess...

Did you try going to Liberty? They have really low level missions there.

I'm at level 27, with a net worth of $500K (its my third time through the game so im not very far yet). Somehow my Net worth requirement for the next level is only $150k. Strange.
